Nah, my dad would probably go with "Stairway to Heaven" [IMG]

I have taken a lot of tastes from my dad, he is a music buff and likes to play music really loud in the house, so after a while I've grown used to it and actually like the music he plays.

    JB

Haven't seen "High Fidelity," have we?

Wait. What? Birdy Nam Nam?!?!?! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I read this list around 4 hours ago and this name didn't register in my brain. 10 minutes ago, I went to clean my parakeet's cage...remembered your affinity for parrots...and then the world all started to make sense.

Birdy Nam Nam is presumably a reference to Peter Sellers' The Party. In which case, doubleplusgood.

    My roster for today ...

    1. Duk Koo Kim - Sun Kil Moon
    2. Superman (It's Mot Easy) - Five For Fighting
    3. Miss Chatelaine - k.d.lang
    4. Sympathy for the Devil - The Rolling Stones
    5. So Says I - The Shins
    6. A Lack of Color - Death Cab for Cutie
    7. Jane Says - Jane's Addiction
    8. Zero - Smashing Pumpkins
    9. Sex and Candy - Marcy Playground
    10. Darkness - The Human League

I guess the last one comes under "guilty pleasures".

Yes, you are both correct. It was a triple whammy: Peter Sellers, parrots and impressive experimental/record splicing IDM from sort of obscure French DJ group that is very good (IMHO). They were on one of the lists on eMusic and I checked it out...loved it
