I'm actually enjoying circuit, medium rep (5-12) stuff a whole lot. Haters gonna hate.
Dunno wtf is going on....last week deadlifted 122.5 for 5 fairly easy reps, this week could only manage a single at 120kg and did my 5 reps at a pathetic 100kg. Im beginning to wonder if the olympic bar i used this week is heavier than last weeks, thats how different it felt. There are 2 sorts of bar in the gym with slightly different knurled areas...but im guessing they weigh the same as they both say 1500lb on them.
Guy on the bench next to me rolled up a towel and put it on his chest, then proceeded to bench press using the towel as a cushion, wtf? I was like, "where is your ROM brah?"
He was probably trying to mimic 1,2 or 3 board bench pressing. Nothing bad about that IMO.
Meh, fuck cutting in the summer think I'm going to just keep bulking. Really have no reason to cut anyways.
Easier to just pseudo-cut by getting a tan.
Had a guy at my gym do this as well when attempting 315+. He was almost bouncing the weight on his chest though...
yet another not so successful day of oly lifts. fffffrustating
this is the poor man's way to do ghetto pin presses/board presses if you don't have a rack or boards to bench with. dude was probably working his sticking point

I decided it's time to man up and do Clean & Jerks. I was surprised at how much I was able to do for my first attempts:
135 x 6
155 x 6
175 x 3
185 x 2(coulda gotten a third but didn't want to sacrifice form)
swiss chard is so gross, yet so good for you
Googled it, didn't know what it was. I'm pretty sure I eat it most days, just tastes like standard greens to me.
I had some for dinner this evening. Didn't realize it was so healthy.
