He's got an amazing coach, super fast, and trains like crazy. He's also got a great attitude and is fun to watch, the sport need more people like him.
I think John North is a 94kg lifter.
Max effort lower body today, favourite day of the week <3
2.5kg PR on the squat, feels good man.
Thinking of going to Europe's Strongest Man at Headingley Stadium in Leeds.
What's your weight here...jesus
just snatching WR + 5kg, business as usual in soviet russia:
gotta admire the technique, this guy and Ivanov snatch pretty much perfectly. The bar is received just where it needs to be, not a hair above.
Had a pretty succesful 3 weeks or so on my self designed routine. Deadlift has gone from 110 x 5 to a fairly easy 120 x 5, bench has gone up 5kg, DB row 30kg 3x10, and added almost half an inch to arms. Other than deadlifts im only doing maintenance leg work really, hoping to bring up the upper body into proportion. Still dont understand how everyone in the gym has calfs like toothpicks and like 15 or 16" arms. My calfs are way bigger than my arms and i've never worked them.
It's because they're too busy doing brocep curls on the squat rack.
Typical bro workout:
Saturday: Binge drinking
Knucks how tall are you? Talk about looking like a brick shithouse.
those are some bad dudes
signed up for another year--> 15 mos with ex; i have my sights set on doing a meet in about a year's time. after doing strength routines and higher volume routines, i would have to say my preference lies with strength. disregard aesthetics, acquire numbers
Love watching Klokov train. dude is a beast. Can't wait for london 2012
ah lol, i got beaten
I have 14" calves, I train them directly and do sled work. Looks really funny because I have high calf insertions and very long legs. Squats and deads aren't gonna do shit for your calves.
I have 16" calves, I've never done calf work, nor will I in the future.
