I train with my coach mon/thu/sat, monday is usually C&J + pulls & assistance thursday is snatch + pulls & assistance and sat is a bit of both

usually lift on tuesday and friday as well, mostly lighter technique stuff and/or heavier (front) squats. With main lifts it's a daily max type of thing, usually start off with the bar, then some triples and doubles as I'm ramping up, then singles and max for day x 5-7, then back off for some doubles if everything's smooth.

nothing above 5 reps ever, no back squats for now, no power versions of the lifts. and you gotta remember I'm a total fucking noob at this, so for an intermediate lifter the shit I do won't probably be the best way to go.

from what I gather my coach trains lifters through weak spot elimination, adding in stuff that's fixing the fault in either technique or strength with periodization to peak at competitions. Most everyone lifts heavy almost all the time (as the groove is easily lost if one doesn't), almost no one does power snatches or cleans.

Have a job interview on wednesday (sainsburys stocking shelves successful life is successful) and I can't wear jeans or sweats to it. Go to store to buy trousers, have to size up to 36" waist to get quads in, 34" fit, but I couldn't sit down. Also all trousers looked like boot cut because they were skin tight on the quads and lose on the calf and obviously the waist is massive.

On the sainsburys job interview (got to prove i am capable of picking up boxes and putting them on shelves before they hire me) or the not being able to buy trousers? Pretty proud of getting an interview, I think its my 5th time applying.

I did this job part time for (too long.) Prepare to meet loads of girls. Also, i enjoyed not taking the job remotley seriously, basically going in to socialise and doing just enough to avoid getting sacked....as did most of the other young staff.

I started noticing a sharp pain in a particular spot below my left side collarbone when I move my arm/shoulder a particular way. It isn't in the shoulder joint and doesn't seem to affect lifting at all. Any ideas what this might be? Not at all a debilitating injury but it doesn't feel right.

    Eastern European coach?
I've gotten tons of remarks from polish/hungarian coaches like that, none relating to weightlifting though.
