    and the cut begins. i am 193 right now, we'll see where i end up. the boss said sticking with higher volume would be fine, so here goes nothing... gonna need me some lavender trunks soon enough

    In reference to the lavender trunks - THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!

    I'm at 192-193 and I need to do the opposite.. gain. Gotta to get to 205-208, somehow.

    Based on where I'm at, yes. I think the results speak for themselves.

    EDIT: Also, before I was pulling pretty heavy, but I backed off my weights when I started incorporating the heavy assistance work. Now that I'm about back where I was at (on my squat at least) I feel much more confident and in control than I did back then, that's for damn sure. I'm also close grip benching almost as much as I was straight benching back when I started this cut.

    I've increased my daily average 400 more calories, so hopefully the weight starts packing on

    Has the Big Guy put you on the zig-zag diet yet? He's got me also on a high volume body builder style routine right now...

    yes and yes. pretty nifty, we'll see how it works... i like that i wont have to stuff myself every day.

    Someone explain purple trunks please.

    3rd day of leg DOMS, supposed to squat today, but im gonna do upper body power instead. Hate doing low rep rows so im gonna try hang cleans for the first time in about a year.

    as long as you have a food scale and a fit day account, it's pretty fucking easy. i'm still losing a steady 1.5–2lbs a week with little to no cardio, although my physical therapy almost feels like it at times. i also have to say god bless dandelion root...

    i have both. i actually switched to fatsecret after using fitday for years; the fatsecret mobile app lets me take a picture of food barcodes and it automatically scans the info into your daily log which is really convenient. the only knock against the mobile app is that it doesnt tell you your macro ratio, you have to login to the actual website to see it. how has it been going with john? dandelion root??

    fuji when chariy was super lean he had a picture of himself in lavender trunks that spurned a pagelong discussion about their history. i am actually excited as hell to get lean; ive always been skinny-chubby. just worried im going to end up looking like one of those skinny-guys-with-abs/brad pitt in fightclub wannabe weenies

    This is my fear as well. Worried at 185 ill look like a facebook ripped kid, im sure my legs and back will look fine, but my chest is shit. When will it be my turn for chariy aesthetics?


    Gym was empty today, obvious thing to do, preform cleans topless whilst grunting really loudly. Got awkward when the cleaning lady came in. Was thinking I would have to do power cleans , but I can still catch the bar with my hamstrings touching my calves, guess I still have the muscle memory. Was only doing 60kg for 8x3, but ill take up the weight next time I do them, wrists weren't ready.
