+1 on the Frank's. Bought the 2 bottle combo pack at Costco and am crushing it.

So I read this and while everything in the article is fine it doesn't correct for differences in height. Is there any sort of calculation that does this?

I usually do this once a day. I also throw in a few peanuts just to give it some texture.

Big +1 on this. Or maybe not and then we can all look fwd Fuji's future post where he writes about being strapped to a bed upside down for six months because he broke his back Bruce Lee style.

All useful movements in that video. But why in the hell would they string them together like that, I have no idea.

btw if you have bumpers bailing on a back squat is not that big of a deal. if not, however, it may wreck some flooring or something.

I have bumpers, but I ca't drop them even though I have platform too, stupid gym. I only perform box squats so dumping the bar would mean probably crushing the wood box, my gym being cheap as fuck probably wouldn't replace it either. I've been doing really high volume training recently with nothing to failure so i doubt ill need the pins. Hopefully gym will fix them though. How will bros do curls without the power cage?

I've only read the Wilks wikipedia article, but there are a number of equations developed for similar purposes. Maybe one accounts for height in some way.

Bah, I've been sitting at around 162 for a while now. Was down to 159 a few days ago but it was after drinking so most of that was water, after my water levels balanced out I was back where I was originally. Skipped the gym today because I was just really mad/lazy. Switched over to a new diet that is more "normal" to prepare for a transition to just eating healthy generally instead of having to follow a diet. Got a few more weeks and 5-10 lbs more until that happens but I'm close. :slayer:

what are you lifting numbers and ratios from before/after dieting? what kinda deficit?

    eg. at 180lbs, squat was 225 = 1.25
    at 160 lbs, squat is 230 = 1.44

im trying to get lean and want to see secondhand how it affects performance

My lifting spreadsheet is here (warning .xlsx document). I went from 188 on Oct 1 to about 160 by last week. One month of that was zero progress due to being lazy around the holidays and a shoulder injury. You do the math.

FWIW I'm like 162 now and squatting 285 which is about 1.75, compared to 9/30 when I weighed 188 and was squatting 225 (about 1.2).

    Hello body,...
when I started lifting I thought I knew what a 'good" program was and that I trained better then everybody else. It only took a year and a half under the bar to realise I don't.very informational comments thanks for sharing.
