On Saturday after doing a few 5rep sets on back squat, I was feeling pretty good and put 370 on the bar to see if I could match my 1RM from the other week. Struggled a little, but managed to get it up. Turns out my brain wasn't working correctly, and I had a 5lb plate extra on each side so it was actually 380. Unintentional PR FTW!

Now able to do 5 5-rung C&P ladders with a 20 kg bell without feeling smoked. Trying to get the total time of them down before I bump to a 24kg bell though.

Nope I'm much weaker than I've been in the last 1-2 years. But at least I'm heavier.

No, instead of going 3x8 on DB incline I had to go 2x8 1x6 and it felt stupidly heavy. Cutting feels bad man.

Talking to the gym chavs today, group has been training 2 weeks, one started a cycle with tren in it today, is this real life?

I know, even without lifting they'll get stronger then me on tren. Very much considering going on.

This is my issue currently. Stalled on DL and decided it's probably weakness in my hip flexors and hammies.

i dont see how a hip flexor "weakness" would affect your pull at all

Want to switch up and do more volume. Been restricting my diet on a small deficit, want to drop around 10-15lbs target weight is 185 and looking sexy for summer. I like my routine I have now, but I want to add more accessory work to it so any input is appreciated. I still lift heavy on the big three and OHP, but want more volume mainly just for calorie burning. I achieved my goal of 1000lb club, now I just want to see if I can keep it above 1000lbs while cutting down to 185bw.

    Monday:
    Squats 2 x 5
    Box squats 2 x 5
Leg presses 1 x 20 (pick 1 of the squats + the leg presses)
    posterior core movement 2 x 10-20reps
    heavy abs 2 x 20

    Tuesday:
Wide grip flat bench 2 x 6 (index fingers on the rings)
    hammer grip dbs 2 x 8-12 reps
    tricep push downs 1-2 x 8-100reps. (yup 100)
    db side laterals 1-2 x 10reps light
    db front raises 1-2 x 10reps light
    pull-a-parts 1-2 x 20reps

    Thursday:
Dead lifts (rotate variations each week) 2 x 5
    posterior core movement 2 x 10-20reps
    heavy abs 2 x 20reps
    rows 2 x 4-8reps
Reverse grip narrow grip pull downs 2 x 4-8reps
    Curls 2 x 8-12 reps

    Saturday: aka "bro day"
    Overhead Press 2x6
OH Hammer Grip DB Press 3x8-10
    Skullcrushers 2x8
    Pullups 3x10
    Chinups 3x10
    Facepulls 3x12

Fuji, you strike me as the type of guy who could very well flame out on this whole lifting/nutrition thing. You're still such a young guy that doing everything to the extreme as you've chronicled in this thread seems really unnecessary. Seems like whether it's bulking up, leaning out, or aiming for a certain weight on a lift, your approach is always pedal to the metal. What's the big hurry?
