    She's a 102 lb yoga instructor So I'll be okay..

    She actually can't lift right now b/c she fucked up her knee running (patella tendonitis). Lots of physical therapy, but she's able to work out my gym (that has a PT office) so we can work out together which is nice.

    Yeah, it's pretty crucial to get that bar in your lap good when your snatch starts moving up in kiloage. We have a new lifter who's pretty consistently cleaning 100+ kg but his snatch is dead in the water at about 60 kg.. and it's clear why too, he's not pulling the bar in close for the 2nd pull, it kinda hovers about 5 cm in front. That really hinders the application of power from the hips to get that bar elevation.

    Had to skim through the IWF technical rules for my judges exam.. I tell you, some of the stuff in there is just ridiculous, especially the newer rules about competition apparel.

    e. well, on second thought I'm not entirely sure lifting in a singlet would be considered the pinnacle of serious apparel rule change or not, but I'm sure you got the point.

    Decided to start my cut today, felt weak in the gym already. Only had a yam and chicken thigh before I trained. Feels bad man. Could be because im still kind of sick.

    could also be because its dumb to start calorie deficit when youre sick

    Dunno what happened to my deadlift ability. Maybe linked to my hip flexor weakness/pain. 100kg x 5 is so much harder than it used to be, i used to smash out 110 pretty easily and 5rm of 120. Im the biggest and heaviest i've ever been at the moment.

    Is the spreadsheet really all you need to get started on starting strength? Also, seems the workouts would be rather brief if you're only doing 3 exercises, although I guess they prescribe quite a few warmup sets. Not that it is necessarily bad to be done with your workout quicker.

    maybe it never was there to begin with. haven't you been like droning on and on about every suggestion and every lift anyones suggested you do ITT for a year or so
