I wouldn't eat that for breakfast if I was lifting afterwards.
I start lifting around 45 minutes afterwards usually. I can never train well if I haven't eaten much.
dont knock fasted training until youve tried it
I used to do fasted training, ate at 9am trained at 4pm, did not like.
thats not fasted
I didn't eat for 7 hours before I started training, quite sure I was fasting.
So you woke up (8hr fast, lets say), ate, didn't eat again, then trained?
I like training in the morning fasted but wouldn't do it late afternoon. Fuck classes in the morning.
And besides, why not look at what THE BEST do? Sure, there's the primal diet, there's intermittent fasting (I did this for some time) but look at Jay Cutler, Kai Greene...do they do these bullshit diets? No.
Fasted training has only worked for me on "lighter days". Military press day went okay, wouldn't want to do fasted training for squats and the like.
