Was down to 162.6 this morning, hopefully hitting 162.0 or lower tomorrow morning. Having a productive weekend (i.e. no drinking/eating bad). My overall goal of 30 lbs would be reached at 158, so I'm really hoping to hit that in the next week or two then see from there. I think I'll probably have to cut down to 150-153 to really bottom out on this cut probably but we'll see.

I suppose it depends on your overall goals, but it seems like you've been cutting for a really long time. Based on your progress pictures, adding some lean mass might be a better idea than pushing the cut along further. Seems like you're more tied up in scale weight than anything else.

Again, different people have different goals, but based on those pictures, you'd look more emaciated than anything else down to the low 150 range.

I have been trying to cut for about 1.5-2 years now. I started actually getting success October 1. Mid-December to mid-January I was out of commission due to a shoulder injury and being lazy around the holidays. So in 3 months and 1 week I've lost 26 lbs, which is about 2 lbs per week.

Not true. My scale weight has been decreasing and my lifts have consistently been increasing this entire time. I had to backtrack a few pounds when I came back from the injury but that's to be expected.

Scale weight going down while lifts are increasing is pretty much ideal for me right now. Thanks for the advice, though, we'll see where I'm at when I hit the 30lb mark - 158.

Do not like days when I can't go directly from home to the gym, how am I supposed to get pumped sitting in the dentists office? Come at me town and country magazines.

It didn't take me two years. I wasn't serious about it for most of that time.

Someone at the gym might have died today, not sure. Gym is on the bottom floor of a building with 2 floors, but like the 2nd floor is kind of just like a balcony so the ceiling from the first floor is like 30 feet high. We have 2 parallel ropes going from the bottom floor up to the ceiling. I was doing some db overhead presses and some dickhead tried to jump from 1 rope to the other, but the rope snapped and he fell right on his head and then like the ambulance came. Naturally I finished my set.

Lol yeah I got it after a couple minutes, but couldn't be bothered to change my post, sorry.

Assuming he didn't die he's quite lucky because he fell right next to a plate loaded seated calf raise machine so he could have pretty easily been impaled by the bar the plates load onto.
