5.5 months of no breaks. Coach has instated a rest period next week. No lifting. Just eating and drinking and whatever.

I'd never even heard of this lift before. Isn't holding a weighted barbell like that uncomfortable as shit?

Yeah, doesn't feel good. I wrap it in the pussy pad and wear a heavy sweatshirt and it still hurts a bit, but I still think its a great exercise and when im doing it I don't really think about the pain. Don't know how people do it in a T shirt with just the barbell and like 200kg though. Really good exercise though.

I'm happy you are having such weaksauce migraines. For a really proper migraine one'd have to be medicated up to the point where their talk is slurrier than lil wayne's after a gallon of drank and sometimes even that doesn't help.

i feel bad even calling it a migraine. intense pain above the left eyebrow and below the left cheekbone and in the left temple a little. 90% incapacitating, was pretty miserable, but i downed a bunch of aleve and just deadlifted. hope my head doesn't explode in a few hours..

Squat tampon and two sets of sleeves around my elbows eases some of the pain. Nowhere near weights on zerchers I should be complain about just yet haha

Ah, yes, the old dick measuring contest as it pertains to headaches.

For some reason I don't like aleve for headaches. I prefer Tylenol or Ibuprofen.

Guys give me advice on this please - I have read SS, and I have read this thread long enough to know how proper training at the gym should look like, no bro science etc. I have never trained at a gym in my life. I never touched a bar or squat rack. I am totally untrained, tall and very thin. Now should I do SS right away, or do something else just to get started? Serious question.

The first "S" in SS is a good sign that it is great beginner program.
