    This is ridiculous, but I've experienced it as well - guy I asked to work in with started spouting his broscience about how ideally you should wait 5-7 minutes between sets, and even up to 10 if you were feeling it.

    I nodded dutifully and did my entire routine before he finished one exercise.

    When I was training at 95% my 1rm for my entire workout I would usually have at least 5 minutes between sets, maybe 10 towards the end of the workout. Now it's about a minute, dat der pump. After like 2 weeks of doing arm iso work my arms are looking much thicker, think im like 15.5" now. Probably gonna switch back after the summer, but I just want the aesthetics right now. Will see if leg extensions do anything too, legs are already pretty big so im not expecting much of an increase.

    Bah, was trying to get down to 163 to hit the 25 lb mark but only made it to 165. It's all good, though; I'm staying sober and on diet all weekend for once and should be able to power through next week like I did this week and get down to 160-161.

    Fuck I want this stupid cut to be done so fucking bad.

    read the article. the study points out optimal rest times for other goals (muscular endurance, hypertrophy etc)

    Me? 5'7 165 this morning. Trying to get down to 158 which will be 30 lbs. Yes, my lifts have been going up this whole time.

    I just have to stick to my prog and not blow it on the weekends and I'll have this done in 2-3 weeks. Will post progress pics again once I finish the cut.

    my bad indesertum.

    skiing all day today, and then smashing the buffet at the mandarin for a family dinner, and then smashing steak at the keg for a dinner with friends 4 hours later. my capacities will be sorely tested... :slayer:
