^^ Pretty sure that's a retorical question but freeweights mean you have to pick up heavy stuff and it is hard work, most people are more interested in magic or technological miracles or just like standing around in spandex.

Overhead a guy checking out at the front desk of the hotel while I was eating breakfast this morning. He was giving the desk lady his sales pitch about how he sells "Holistic weight loss drops" 2 drops from this little potion a day and you're guaranteed to lose 1-3lbs a day. Said h normally sells it for $125 but would give it to her for $50. She was very, very interested.

The same goes for most supplements too. Just replace celebrity with bodybuilder and you have a recipe for success.

But being an economist, I'm inclined to think that if one is gullible enough to fall for that shit, one doesn't deserve to keep their moneys.

Toasty, I know money isn't plentiful, but you seem like the kind of guy who would really benefit from hiring a good trainer. Having someone who will be able to take all of the guesswork out of your diet, routine, and progress will be worth the cost alone.

BTW - Toasty - do the shit yourself. The knowledge is what you really should shoot for. Sure, it'll be harder, but it'll pay off down the line ten fold.

Eh, it's not really worth understanding. It's an okay joke if you've taken entry level economics courses in college.

i only complain in here because i don't really see anywhere else to vent

it is all meant to be rhetorical. aside from that i enjoy reading topics here and posting random fitness stuff.

i'm glad for all the help and support don't get me wrong.
and when i do vent, i am not complaining about the routine not working, i am just letting off steam.

I know the routine and my work out ethic is not working 100% right now because my diet is shit. so no matter how much progress i may be making, or think i am, it is not consistent because i have more bad days than good.

anyways, i post and rant in here because i enjoy the comradery bros

I guess I don't say 'thank you' enough, so thank you guys. I am just trying to still workout my diet, and aside from that, stick to better form.

I guess people don't want to hear you say you're still squatting 135# while eating 1500cal a day and asking why you don't have a six pack or why your lifts aren't improving in 3 months from now.
