does anyone find it pathetic at the fat out of shape people that post on this site?? If you are so self conscious and care so much about how you look and the clothes you wear, you would think you would put the effort into not being such a fatass

    +1

All snatch deads are going to do for you is build quad strength and make your hands hurt.

Couple people at work said they'll be training for a half-marathon in May starting Feb. Got me convinced to join them. I can't imagine doing both 3 days of SS and training for first half will be possible for me (recovery wise) but I'm gonna give it a go.

Yeah was thinking about doing this instead of just snatch deads. From what I understand a snatch pull is just like a missed snatch where you just basically do a lose form shrug at the top of the deadlift, but don't get the bar particularly high?

Not doing cardio, will phlegm everywhere and die. Will just buy a bunch of ephadrine come spring time and lean out then.

Edit: NO ONE BUY UNFLAVORED WHEY PROTEIN IT TASTES SO BAD. Got 5kg of this shit, that like 200 scoops of whey.

    Yeah no.

It's a snatch without the 3rd pull (or receipt, if you will). Due to this, one is able to snatch pull more than one can snatch. Obviously, I take my recommendation back if one doesn't know how to do it. In that case stick to snatch deads or what have you.

Just add some sugar/honey. That's all that's in flavored protein anyway.

How do you guys topping 200lb going without whey do it? I'm on 2 scoops a day and I keep running into walls on how to get all this fucking protein into me. The ability to mix the whey into my foods (shakes/yogurts) is proving to be somewhat essential.

Deadlift PR again today another 2.5kg on the bar. Should reach 200kg in a couple months.

Snatch grip deads were alright. Don't know how this is supposed to build my upper back. Just feel it in my quads really. Hate that I have to do it with a conventional stance, so weak with it. Worked up to 120kg for triples. Did the snatch pulls, but I didn't like them much, did really feel it in my upper back. Might give them another go in a couple days.

Also really skinny geeky guy at the gym wearing those really expensive adidas lifting shoes that people had on in the olympics. He was cleaning 30kg and front squatting 50kg, such a waste of money. Fat men at the gym told me I should stop pulling sumo because the form is so difficult to master and I should just drop my weight and pull conventional. Whats so hard about it? As long as you have the flexibility all you do is sit down and pick the bar up, apparently because my back didn't stay perfectly vertical or a max effort attempt I have to change to conventional. They was just jel because guy was in like the 275lb class and squatting 150kg in a squat suit. Going to the gym on the american military base on saturday, guessing its just my gym where everyone corrects peoples form.

If you did what you earlier referred to that has almost nothing to do with a good snatch pull. It's hip action man.

    e. this is from pulling blocks but demonstrates where the power comes from

I've been pretty much 'cutting' for 2.5 weeks now, eating between 1700-2500 cals per day and working out as normal. Im down to 176lb, which is a 6lb loss, waist size hasnt really changed though. Its so much easier eating for a cut, just some lean protein, veg, and a bit of carbs and fat....i will be pleased when i no longer have to bulk and look bloated and need to shit every 5 minutes. Just thought i would take the edge off my fat before i start all out bulkign again, which wont be long as i look so skinny. Also have no energy in the gym on this diet, only managed 3 x 5 squats and 4 x 5 bench then i had to leave.

Yeah thats pulling much higher then I was. I was missing the 2nd pull I think. Probably drop the weight next time I do it and pull higher.

I am just having a hard time motivating myself to get up to my gym. If I owned a house I would do the kunk and just put a gym in the garage. Fuck, I hate commuting to have to work out.

    same here.

it should get better when I go back to school in a week but I hate having to drive 20 minutes to go to the gym, if I had a barbell at home that would be so awesome.
