You're a bastard and I hate you. How long until you looked like that? For most of my Asian friends that was like 3 months of training. T_T

Haha that took a couple years.

I started at 120-125 pounds. I was 170 in that photo.

A lot of crap training and bad dieting along the way. But now I've learned the ways :)

This makes me a little happier. Being a vegetarian and trying to gain is very hard, especially with an omgwtfbbq metabolism. Oh, well.

Damn.. well hopefully you're finding ways to get enough protein. High protein and carb intake were probably the biggest factors, diet-wise, in my gains.

It's a lot of whey, beans, dairy, and nuts. I don't know that it's enough, but I've gained 5-10 pounds since starting actually caring about my diet a couple months back. I'm pleased thus far. Beaten all my old PRs in lifting and had the lowest amount of knee pain in 5 years. :nodding:

I no longer understand the role that fat free is meant to play in society.

studying is the diet killer; 1 kilo tub of chocolate covered raisins has died by my hand across the last two days.

    1% cottage cheese >*. 1 tub a day

the only downside living within walking distance of trader joe's and whole foods is that neither sells unsalted cottage cheese. salted cottage cheese makes me sad. fuji's link also makes me sad

Here's an excerpt from a Dan John seminar. You may have already seen it on Google Video, but here it is on Youtube.
It's long, almost an hour, but worth watching IMO.

He teaches of good cues for squatting, back control, etc.

    but...but...but... I'm a skinnyfat turd that benches 175. Not even 145bw =(. I wanna be admired.

Stretching the hip flexors feels so good. Having my torso upright like in the agile 8 picture instead of bent over stretches them out a lot more. Too bad I failed on my first squat set.
