It think it's just the darkness of my clothing and the angle. I've got a pretty shallow low bar position compared to some out there.

I also have this problem. My legs and ass are huge compared to other guys of similar height/weight, but my upper body is noticeably smaller. All my t shirts ride up and sit on top of my ass unless i constantly pull them back down.

Don't you like squat 80kg bench 60ish? Thats not really much of a difference. I've got an 80kg single on the bench on a good day and probably around 140kg squat right now. Need to find a program, which lets me bench twice a week, but ideally uses wave loading. Don't really like progressive overload, I like to know the exact weights and reps I should be using. Might just write my own, but ill probably fuck it up.

Be happy it's not the opposite!

Got a question for you guys squatting low bar. Did you used to squat high bar and then made the switch at some point in your lifting career or did you learn to squat in that position since the start? I'm wondering if I should try to work on using low bar instead of high bar considering I'm more into power lifting than OL?

I used to squat high bar.

I kept getting tossed forward at the bottom because I have a long torso, so I tried low bar and haven't looked back.

1RM squat is probably 90kg, 1RM deadlift is at least 130kg. Bench is less than 60, probably 58. My legs are 24" and im about 14% BF so i hate to think how big they need to be to squat 140, unless its more about technique.

Bruised rib is really hurting. Anything I can do to help it? Don't really feel like taking time off and I doubt I could complete my last set of smolov without the belt.

I basically did a 3-a-day today. Worked out with my dad and brother early this afternoon. Did a crossfit workout with one of my buddies who is really into it. Then my other friend showed up as we were finishing up and i worked out with him. I am completely and utterly spent.

did cardio after my workout today:

    Incline dumbbell 3x5 @ 50lbs
    Bench dumbbell 4x8 @ 50lbs
    Dumbbell shoulder press 1x8 @ 35 then 2x8 @ 40lbs (stick with 40lbs next round)
Triceps press on the pulley 3x10 @ 80lbs (straight bar)
Sit ups (leg lift and plank) 2x20, 1x15, plank for 1min.

i ran after to "burn 100 calories"

i then wanted to do some body workout really quick, dips 2x8 and pull-up 1x4

I noticed after running that I was much more fluid. My body felt looser and lighter. Should I run before lifting to loosen the body up? I felt great doing exercises post-run.
Considering adding a 8min/100 calorie run 2-3 day into my workout.

Not sure whether it is more beneficial to run before or after.

And before anyone says anything, I just feel like running to keep my tummy in check. :embar:

    edit:
how come no one posted their thanksgiving meal?? i took photos but too lazy to upload. it was marvelous in terms of workout food.
