Are you inhaling big air into your stomach (no chest) and pushing out?
I loathe running and don't think I've ever done it more than a few consecutive days in my life. I still do low intensity cardio on non-lifting days for various reasons. Also enjoy loaded carries when my back isn't being screwy.
Have you guys ever had bad stomach reactions to protein powder? I have been eating the same smoothie with almond butter, protein powder, soy milk, oatmeal and blueberries for the last three months. However, in the last couple weeks, I have started getting cramping and stabbing stomach pain post consumption. I am thinking it may be the protein powder, I use 2+ large scoops of muscle milk.......Any suggestions?
Yes, it's probably due to not drinking enough water.
I'm with El Arg on this one... I run for the endurance benefits for Soccer...
Although just like with lifts, I enjoy the measurable gains with running as well (5k performance). I really ought to sign up for a 5k (just not in the winter...)
Yeah, I know how to do the valsuva maneuver thing. Worked pretty well with the other belt. Just can't get this one that tight around my body enough for me to push my stomach into it. Hurts like fuck too. Guessing its just a case of loosening it up.
Awesome moment of the day: snatching over 200lbs for first time
Sad moment of the day: immediately thinking "I can't wait to post this on the SF Random Exercise thoughts."

That is just so cool.. making good progress on a highly technical lift is really satisfying. I'm something like 12.5 kg off a bw snatch and when I finally get that bar over my head I'll be laughing for the rest of the day, no doubt.
I drink a ton of water but maybe I need to thin out the shake, right now the protein powder makes it extremely thick (I eat it with a spoon)

Haven't been sleeping or eating enough for the last week, haven't worked out for a week either. Fucking hell. Today is my first day I have time to do it. My ex-gf was begging me to meet today to talk about us, I told her "sorry I have to work out".
