    Today I tried on some shirts I got back from the tailor.

    The arms were SUPER tight and for a second I thought gained a lot of mass in my arms from my 1 month already. I was like 'WTH, already?"

    But I quickly realized the tailor took in my sleeve along with my waist. (I only asked for the waist to be taken in :fu:)

    Deadlift 1+ day, favorite day of the cycle because I already set my 1rm really low at 140kg Im just gonna pull at 100% instead of 95%. Hoping to pull 5ish.

    Shit deadlift day. Pulled 140kg for only 2 reps, couldn't lock out the 3rd rep. I pulled 150kg for 3 like a month ago and went 130kg for 8 just last week so I don't know what was wrong. My belts getting pretty loose, I didn't eat much before I trained today and I was distracted because I had a lot of my gym friends with me today so that could be why, also my dads getting back from afghanistan today so im not really thinking about the gym. 140kg for 2 is still alright I suppose.

    Had to ditch an overhead squat today, was pretty scary. I do them in a squat rack as well because my snatch form has gotten pretty shit so Im much more comftorable doing a wide grip behind the neck press. Cage in the gym is pretty small so it was kind of dangerous dropping the bar. Still worked up to a 50kg single. Been doing tonnes of shoulder mobility work this week and its really helped my over head squat. I was only doing the bar last week.

    Yeah it's a female pimp. But yes it is fucking cheap, $3 USD an hour? Man you can find her on the corner of the P3 subway exit in Tsim Sha Tsui East if you want to get her card and find out for yourself. Myself, I'm not the pay for play type in principle.

    It's all about bar position, on any heavier OHS if you leave the bar just an inch or two in front or in back, it's almost impossible to muscle it back under control. somewhat apropos, just these few wks of OL have made a considerable difference in my flexibility and mobility. I can easily OHS and front squat while maintaining full spinal extension (goodbye butt wink), my deadlift technique is a shitload better now and I bet my back muscles have gotten a fair bit stronger too.

    Just for the fun of it I did some bench presses after todays clean session. Smoked 5x5 w/ 90kg on the bar, weird as I haven't done any bench pressing in months.
