1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

You can't really fault GPs for not being in the know about everything wrt strength and fitness. Sports physicians are usually the ones that really do know their shit, and if you have a chance to go to one, I recommend it.

You can when they try to act like they know what they're talking about. Doctors pull that shit all the time.

That's cause for most people it's true. The guy dead lifting by writhing his body is going to fuck his back, the guy good-morning squatting will probably hurt himself, etc. We've all seen many of these guys at the gym. In the age of 15-minute appointments, it's unfeasible for your GP to actually sit down with you and get your workout history/knowledge. Easier to say "Don't do it."

Tried on slim dress trousers I bought on August the 18th for a job interview, ass rips open upon taking a few steps. This was already after I had sized up a couple inches for quad size. Tried on baggy as fuck looking ralph lauren polo old man chinos, quads are still pretty tight, huge on the calves. Fuck you trousers for not wanting to fit me.

A video featuring the number one muscle building tip. A lot of people can learn from this.

    !

It's from the guy who runs this site. He has workouts that can help you look like Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling and Justin Timberlake.

Thanks for the tip bra, Im totally gonna get pumped up as fuck and fucking crush that 55lb dumbbell pres tomorrow. Before I watched that video was like thinking about other shit during my concentration curls (isolates biceps bra, my long heads really lacking) like how many 4 lokos Im gonna slam tonight because no one has ever before told me to focus on lifting during my lift., thats some revolutionary shit. Bitches gonna be miring the fuck out of me when I look like Ryan Gosling, you see how much gash he slewed in the note book?

Seriously wtf, just went on the site and I found this passage

"I see a lot of insecure teenagers who start off very skinny with the dream to get big at all costs. So they buy weight gainers, eat 4000+ calories a day and perform tons of squats and deadlifts. It is not uncommon for these guys to add 30 lbs in 3-6 months. So what’s the problem with this? Well if you take a look at the before and after pictures they probably look worse in the ‘after’ photos. They probably gained a good amount of fat and the muscle they did gain went mostly to their legs and ass. Their upperbody maybe bigger but it is most definitely softer looking. Lastly their face looks much less defined.'

THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING WRONG???? Fuck!

    Relevant:
Today was apparently "bro day" at my gym. I missed the memo on bicep curls, since literally 70% of the people I saw were doing them. Half bending over at the back to lift them big bicep weights, brah!

I was at the Annual High-Heel Drag Queen race in Washington DC the other night, with hundreds of shirt-lifters screeching and running around, dressed to the nines in their finest women's wear.

Still, that dude's website is the gayest thing I've ever seen.

doesnt matter, his amateur bro psychology mental breakthrough works since he is like sooooo cute and he has a 6pack!!!!!!!!11 celebrity reference!!

ive long given up on giving intelligent fitness advice to people irl. its like chick magazines, if one of them just came out and said "swallow and learn to cook a steak medium rare" there wouldnt be any reason for them to exist anymore. same dilly yo, every useless dick has to come out with 6 steps to that or fastest way to this. for every IA, leangains, etc there is some asshole without a shirt on marketing himself.

Reading through his bullshit, I found near the bottom of the main page an article in which he talks about his method of IF and he basically lays out MB's method and doesn't give him any credit. Even when someone tells his about this he just ignores the comment, hmmm...

I've gotten pretty used to it, don't really get DOMS from it anymore. The 5x10 50% doesn't really feel like anything to me anymore. I do it as speed work now and time how fast I can do each set, consistently get 15 seconds. It makes the 5x10 for all the lifts more enjoyable.

Just got back from physio. Back pain is SI joint strain, not a disk issue.
