    They do a very specific, brutal water training on day one which you could absolutely train for.

    Yeah...that, to me, is the most intense. I don't know if I want to take part in a procedure called "Drown Proofing"

    Think about the movement. If you're doing power cleans with anything heavier than a broomstick how the fuck can they not hit your traps.

    Yeah when you think about it, it is pretty much entirely traps. Does it do lats too, my lats are considerably sore considering I skipped my 2 other lat exercises.

    Being that the ROM on lat pulldowns is different from wide-grip chins, is there any benefit to alternating workouts to include both?

    Lat pulldowns are pronated grip, chins are supinated grip. They work different muscles, so do both.

    I'm getting tired of people telling me what I should and shouldnt be eating while dieting, how and when I should be eating, and anything else involving people who dont know what they are talking about, or think they know what the are talking about because they heard some broscience in the gym. fuck.

    Lat pulldowns are pronated grip, chins are supinated grip. They work different muscles, so do both.
    I heard supinated grip hits the lats more effectively. Could just be broscience ------------- Something's up with my left shoulder. Pain seems to be getting worse w/time [​IMG] No more overhead weighted situps. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow

    Do any of you think that 2000 calories a day is enough of a cut for a 5'9 male at 225 lbs to really lose weight?
    Like, really lose weight? I've been keeping track of calories using Loseit.com, and not only don't I not feel hungry, I feel bloated after meals sometimes.

    not feeling hungry is a good thing if you're still eating under maintenance

    Yea, but I read this thread because many of the people can offer very good input, but when random people find out I'm dieting they just start spewing some crap that they read in a fitness magazine in 2003. Holy crap it's so annoying.
