was benching today and had a lot of trouble on my last set. then went to lat pulldowns and felt some pain/twinge in my left tricep - pretty much stopped after that

maybe i shouldn't do the rock wall and then lift.. lol

hopefully will be ok, not painful in a tear way, but a muscle twinge

just beginning to learn the importance of not washing your hair too often, it's so much more manageable with some natural oil build up

Practiced power cleans today in the heat. Feels good, man. I feel like they will help me learn how to more aggressively approach the bar as something that I force to do what I want, as opposed to struggling to resist it.

Should you be able to power clean more than you can hang clean or vice versa?

    155 lbs.
    22" thighs

Want to get bigger, but my thighs are already big and hips are abnormally wide. Cut or bulk (want to fit into somewhat slim stuff)?

PS - Seems like I'm not growing any taller, so height is probably big factor here.

Your thighs are small, bitch, squat!

If you're 155 and only 5'7" with only 22" thighs I'm guessing you are top heavy already, there's no other explanation for it. Pics?

At what point on the leg do you measure your thighs?

All the fat/weight/muscle are in my lower body (read: thighs).

There's only fat on top (stomach) and skinny arms.

In my experience power clean should be more. You have the added benefit of more leg drive in that lift.

Started front squatting with a thinner bar (40 lbs) and I get a much better center of gravity / balance with it. In generally I am just a smaller guy so something like a thinner bar makes sense, I think. I almost passed on out 3rd set with bar on my throat, though.

My wrists and elbows are PISSED at power cleans yesterday. I guess I exceeded the comfort zone of my joints.

Went to the chiro again and she says half my ribs are subluxing. After she pops them back, the "stitch" in my back goes away. I think can see them when they are subluxed while deadlifting. I don't know if I'm being sold snake oil or what, but she makes the stitch go away, damndest thing. I am going to have to figure out how it's happening!
