There's no easy answer to this question. Depends on what you mean by "lose bodyfat." Are you obese trying to get to a "normal" level? Or are you at 12% trying to get to single digits? The answer will be different depending on what your current level is. Moreover, you need to also pay attention to your diet - exercise and diet go hand in hand. I'm already quite skinny at 140lb/5'9 but I have some bodyfat leftover around my waist/hip area from my 'bulk' one year ago. I want to get rid of it. It's not a lot and you don't notice it under my clothing but it obviously bothers me.
