Oh my god @ every nutrition-related thread here and in the food and drink forum.

I'm no Greek god, but I think everyone spouting off about cherry-picked studies and shoddy anecdotal evidence should post some shirtless pictures of themselves.

I do this, really low weight/weightless though; mostly as a balance exercise. Been doing it since high school, and have definitely been able to easily notice core strength/balance/stability gains.

Muscle Gauge kind of blows the competition out of the water when it comes to the selection of flavors it offers (cake batter, anyone?). The problem is that it's become wildly popular, so you're kind of out of luck if you don't buy quickly after one of the few online sites that carries it restocks inventory.

Bookmark this for future use, though, and just check intermittently. That's where I always get mine; ridiculous fast delivery, cheap flat-rate shipping and they'll usually throw in some awful free magazine with workout babes on the cover.

Since it looks like everything that isn't a fucking 25-pound tub of vanilla is sold out at the moment, check out True Protein. I haven't used the, but have heard good things. Custom mixes/flavors available and prices look good for what whey costs elsewhere.

There aren't a ton of affordable whey isolate options out there, though. Plenty of concentrates to pluck from, but hell with those.

I like True Protein; $5.69 per lb. is about as good as it gets!

I tried searching the thread but can't find the damn name or link - can somebody please link me to a good quality head harness for working out your neck? I know Kunk and somebody else recommended one but I can't find the fucking thing.

Not sure if this is what kunk recommended, but it was recommended on a powerlifting site.

Yep, trueprotein is the bomb. I just take their unflavored protein. It tastes fine without the added flavors. Plus, it is easily the easiest mixing protein I have evern seen.

Trueprotein's price is good but shipping kills.

You can sometimes do better on Amazon getting ON Gold Standard (Great product, great flavors IME) since it can qualify for free shipping or "Subscribe & Save" discounts.

I get mine at Sam's Club where it's usually EAS brand, but I freely admit the flavor isn't the greatest at all.

I'm a GNC gold card member because it's convenient for my twice monthly supply and it usually has sales. Not the "cheapest' per se but the least amount of hassle

I have to shill myprotein, their stuff has been great thus far. Only recently got me some casein, which makes for awesome ice cream facsimile (in case you have a sweet tooth and don't have room in your daily macros for that jar of B&J).
