There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

This sounds pretty damn awesome for anyone looking for a new strength program or for those already doing Sheiko:

    +1

Also, personally, I didn't have a problem figuring out what my (then) girlfriend liked and disliked style-wise. Especially if you are of the age where your friends are getting engaged, its easy to get her talking about what she thinks of other people's rings without letting her know that you are shopping for one.

So there's an IFBB Pro at the Y I go to, and today this 18 year old kid walks up to him says "you look really toned". I don't know if it was the most epic troll I've ever witnessed or if he was just clueless, but the look on the Pro's face after he said it was one of complete devastation.

I was thinking of running his 4-day intermediate program that stretches across 20 weeks. The variations on the Big 3 intrigue me but worried the volume may kill me.

They aren't better than Rehband per se, just different. Might get a few extra pounds of rebound out of the SBDs vs the Rehbands. They became a thing when they became legal for raw competition where sleeves are allowed (e.g. IPF)

The reasoning for all the variations is that specific weaknesses in the main lifts will be resolved faster and better by doing variations that target those weaknesses.

I haven't looked closely at the 4-day program but the volume is quite high IIRC. However, it seems like some people think the Sheiko routines are quite light on the other hand, with less max-effort work and lower percentages in the some rep ranges in comparison to some other programs.

But if you come from a significantly lower volume or frequency (like not benching 3-4x a week), it could be wise to start with one of the 3 day programs. One guy in my club runs that despite qualifying for the CMS program and he has made very good gains on it.

Met an obscenely aesthetic girl today in the library, like 9/10 aesthetics. Got talking, turns out she's bipolar, very very ill, will likely need a kidney transplant soon and has a script for morphine. For what it's worth i'm also diagnosed as bipolar (but type 2 because not cray), but I don't have any treatment except occasional psychiatry when I want it. This is going to go so horrifically badly. She's coming over thursday.

Did not PR in the bench press today, very annoyed.

220ish still have abs, obviously not cut to pieces, but i look a lot bigger then when i was shredded. I think my traps have grown from pulling twice a week for fairly high reps.

How? Your significantly bigger and definitely stronger upper body wise.

They are quite skinny to be fair, quads look pretty big in shorts, but thats just insertions and my calves are tiny. Haha she's coming over to "bake" something with me. Forever asking girls to come over and cook or bake with me, that inoffensive way to get girls to come over. Making oreo cup cakes or some shit. Will get pics as per usual.

Got yelled at for slamming weights again today. Wasn't even slamming them. Sounds like there is a supervisor that everybody hates because the guy who came up to me was very sympathetic. She doesn't even lift. It's like a highway patrol officer without a driver's license. Also failed my bench and deadlift, and I'm on a fucking reset on deadlifts. God dammit.

In good news, I finally hit 315x5x3 after restarting Starting Strength in late June. I originally ran SS from May-November last year, got my squat work sets from 105 to 280, stopped to run RFL, lost 15 lbs., stopped lifting, picked up SS again in late June squatting 155.

Huge milestone ruined by the shitty gym supervisor, shitty bench, and shitty deadlift. 315 was my goal and I don't want to fat fuck myself, so I probably won't go much farther than this. My bench sucks, though, and I really want to get to where I'm not benching baby weight any more before I try to cut. 200x5x3 (225 calculated 1RM) would make me very happy, but I don't think I'll get there. I need to get down to the low teens (15% minimum, 12% ideally; I'm around 25% right now) then onward and upward.

Leaving for vacation this week for 2 weeks means no gym for the duration. Prolly gonna do pause push ups, pause dips, and pull ups. When I get back, I'll see how much of my gains I'll have lost. Decided today I'm gonna give my back 3 more weeks to heal. Today = no pain but I'm not taking any chances. Did 205 5x5 with 2 second pause bench today. Felt pretty damn good.

George Leeman saying his friend, Vince Urbanks brother doesn't have godly genetics because he only weighed 185 at 6'3" untrained and missed a 315 pull the first time he lifted. Lel alright mate. Don't give a fuck how hard you train if you pull 550lb within 4 months of training that was genetics, there is only so much you can train and diet.

Haha yeah, I weigh more than @GraphicNovelty , but I look like a twig next to him.

The quest for 16 inch gunz continues. I think I just hit/passed 15 for this go-around. Hoping to still make 16 by the new year.

Question for you guys though... Is frequency better than a dedicated day? I.e. am I better off dedicating a day to arms and doing 2-3 exercises for bis/tris or better off doing one 5x10 superset for both 3-4 times a week? Potentially two exercises on some days.
