1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah. I mean. There are powerlifters with huge backs and all they do is deadlift and do some facepulls (referencing the guy fuji linked to recently). So basically it is lift heavy shit and get big. I can't do much of the former or even latter for that matter.

I'm trying to keep things fresh and try to enjoy myself while working out. Maybe I should get my ass in the pool and swim a bit here and there.

    From Bret:
"Once upon a time he was my friend on Facebook and he de-friended me. Then he started bashing me on his forum, in Facebook, etc. Whenever I reply to threads that he comments in, he doesn’t respond to them. And I’ve sent him FB emails. So it seems that he’s more interested in calling me names than getting to the bottom of things.
How can anyone settle anything if one person just calls the other names and then doesn’t respond?
Anyway, I don’t need to block him as he’s not my friend on FB, Sure I can ignore him, but I thought I’d try to confront him first to see if I could settle things."

    This is amazing. 10/10 trollage.

I'm just trying to figure out how I should set up lifting around the cardio. Right now I'm doing 3-5 lifting sessions a week. I guess I could cut down to 3 and swim a day or two? I've never had to balance a schedule like that before.

All I used to do for cardio was ride my bike everywhere in the summer...

they both have bodies like dog shit. lyle looks like a 3rd rate harold ramie.

anyway, i just took a big step, hiring a coach. am thinking i will compete in masters NPC as 40 approaches. i think i am about a year away. have to improve glutes and legs but with chest striated and 51" at 218, arms at 20.5", if I get to 255-260 i should be pretty massive and be able to place well on mass alone. most people have said they guessed i am around 240 now so i can carry a lot of lbs.

i had a bigger back when i was doing two sets of pullups, chinups, inverted rows to failure with 3x10 deads 1x/week with facepulls on pressing days than i was when i was hyperanalyzing when to slot in high rep horizontal / low rep vertical or high rep vertical / low rep horizontal rowing on particular days of the week and what movements to do when blah blah whatever.

and yeah yohimbine works well, its certainly not needed but if you want to go down that road nothing is really needed.

super jazzed about the elbow, making some good progress. hopefully if it continues i can be back at it by august.

disregard dropping lifting days for swimming, unless you're totally unconditioned for it. i made better progress swimming 5x/week while lifting 4x/week than i did without, but i've been swimming for a long time and my strokes are mega efficient.

Only really used test and tren, having used tren I don't think i'd ever use anything else. Doubled 4 plates off an SS bar last night on a couple hours sleep and using an SS bar for the first time so I'd say it worked.

everything is templated so there's no point in making any new models.

    Running them, not building them.

Anyways, I don't know what your models look like but it still takes work to run one - inputting the financial statements, adding/removing statement line items to correspond to the specific business, linking the statements to the model and adjusting your pages accordingly, changing the model to cover the specifics of a given company/industry, etc.

We have thousands of templates from every sector, there's inevitably a model to suit whatever firm it is. Models are always already linked to the statements so you just fill them out and then fill out the assumption sheet and it builds the model. If you need a different template capitalIQ can always make it for you, inputting financial statements is easy, sometimes it's just a bit annoying making little modification so say your EBIDTA is right then again capitalIQ can do that for you too. Powerpoint is significantly harder in my opinion, but even then you can just draw your slide manually and send it to creative and a middle aged women will do it. I don't even know why we have analysts when you can just use some people in manilla from capitalIQ to make your models and some other people in say mumbai to do slides.

Do you even feel the tbol with test and deca?

Interesting. How are the statements already linked to the model? I mean yeah you can create a generic statement for the model, and input the numbers, similar to what you find on Tradeking but for a company it doesn't always tell the full story. For example, we were looking at a boat manufacturer that made the boat and supplied motors from other manufacturers, so their revenue was broken out between these two line items, which was actually an important thing to know for the deal. Wouldn't you have to create line items on your model to take this into account?

Also yeah IDK why banks pay analysts to do so much bitch work it always made more sense to me to just farm it out to a marketing firm or something, way cheaper and easier.

WTF do you do all day if you're not modeling or editing powerpoints?
