1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Conversely, I'd hate to become a jacked monster with years of no knee support, a cardboard bb.com weightlifting belt, and squatting in basketball shoes only to ask myself "Why did I deny myself of these pleasures for so long? I'm not poor."

Also if you have the ability to use chalk and you don't... your jest retarted.

7:30 hours on the phone yesterday. 1:45 today. Had to yell at the "specialist" to get me to put her through to her supervisor.... but I finally fixed my damned health insurance issue. We've put in at least 15 and probably more like 20 combined hours on the phone dealing with this. Still can't login to my account, even though I am getting email notices.

Hey guys any thoughts on my form? 322.5 for 5reps, and my 2 cents I'm wearing a belt fastlift shoes and rehnband sleeves.

Doesn't actually look way different to me but it's a 10-15 lb difference. 172 lbs this morning. Would be helpful if anyone can guesstimate bodyfat % in the second pic.

What is your target weight KJ? You definitely lost a bit in the midsection, probably some in your legs too which you can't see in these pics. I know my legs were leaning out before everything else.

Weighed in at 168 this morning. I've lost 2 pounds so far this year... the "cut" continues...

Biggest difference is in my thighs and face I think. I don't know about a target, it's kinda why I posted. I don't want to lose too much more because I am starting to see strength losses and would like to eat normally for a bit to repair everything soon, if possible.

Maybe I am in the wrong here, but seeing strength losses going from 20-ish% bf to 16-18% seems kinda... unusual? Not to be harsh, but you're not close to where most people end their cuts if 16% is accurate, and many people can maintain their strength to lower bf%. This is just an assumption, but it seems like most peoples problems appear first when they reach the 10-12% range. I know that you will lose some strength from worse leverages going from 20 to 16% but what I'm trying to say is that the tough part hasn't started yet.

Are you taking care of your recovery? Have you considered lowering the volume? I believe you should be able to maintain your strength further so something seems off.

It's possible that he's running too large of a caloric deficit, no?

Yeah, lemme clarify - I was squatting a bit over two plates for reps but realized I wasn't going deep enough. I'm bouncing between 160 and 185 now on squats at proper depth, and I'm worried I'm going to lose that quad strength from the top end. I'm just unable to advance because there's a weak link getting out of the hole somewhere in my hips. Honestly squats feel really uncomfortable. Proper solution might be going back to squatting at a shallow depth until I'm bulking again?

Bench/press lost maybe 5 pounds off my 5rm and deadlift went up.

Ah okay, depends on what your depth looks like. If you're not competing and it's not extremely high then fuck it. Even though my squats look high on video I squat exactly at USAPL depth. But when I'm repping shit out in the 10-12 range I just squat to parallel.

Yea, for sure. I was super soft when I started to cut and still a bit soft, probably 16%. During Jan to now I've put significant lbs on all my lifts, only thing that were mild setbacks were leveradge loss.
