1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ended up meeting up with weightlifter chick on Friday night, she was cool... but after all this time I still end up comparing all girls to my ex, meh. She seemed really into me, and keeps texting me to meet up again and whatnot. I did not feel like there much "chemistry" from my end, but i'll see again, got nothing to lose.

Did well at her meet too, placed 2nd in her division, good for her. Also it's crazy how much weaker (i'm not saying this in negative way whatsoever) women are than men, she placed second with a 480 total.

What's her weight? That's pretty shitty. I train with a girl who isn't ranked nationally and has a 750+ total at 127lbs.

(I just barely totaled more than her at my first meet, and I fuckin weighed 193lbs..)

Typo, actually 580 total* I think she competed at 138lbs, first meet though, and training for about a year in a half.

Admittedly I know nothing about women's numbers and what's good and what's not regarding weight class

Went out of town with gf for the weekend and didn't stay safe. Ate out a ton. Came back expecting myself to be over 200lbs with bloat but ended up with an evening weight of 197 which is actually lower than my evening weights previously. Will see how it looks in the morning. :slayer:

I had to look up the scoring because apparently they fucked around with the scale. In case one arbitrary scale wasn't enough, but given that it's now out of 170, yes that is good. Didn't grade your own practice essay? 6 on essay and poverty verbal score crew :(

All I want is a membership to a gym where no one

    1) Loads up the leg press with as many 45's as they could fit on there, then proceed to go down an inch, leave and not remove the plates.
    2) People actually knew what they were doing in the squat rack, not using weight they can't handle, going skyhigh and thinking they're the shit. Also using the pussypad.
    3) Deadlifts 135 with their back in the shape of a C
    4) People smart enough to know they should step back from the dumb bell rack to do their sets of 5x15 curls
    5) No groups of bros crowded around a bench with 225 on the bar, lowering it 6 inches then getting up with their chest all out.
    6) Actually NO BROS period.

I wish there was just a solid, weight lifting gym in my immediate area, where everyone has a work out plan, solid goals, and takes their training seriously.

We all like to bitch about the above but sometimes it provides the best entertainment. Or my training partner and I just ridicule them; we already accepted the fact we are going to hell so no reason to stop the ridicule

Don't give a shit what anyone else at the gym is doing as long as they don't walk within 3 feet of my bar path and don't use the equipment I need.

Man, I was only away for two days but came back feeling like a new man. I think that plus hurting my arm sorta gave me a "light" week in the gym. Came in on Saturday and pulled a big rep PR I've been chasing like it was nothing. It made me re-assess my program and I'm writing out a lot of stuff to make sure I'm recovering enough. Taking out the fluff shit like tricep pushdowns and front raises, stuff that's probably hurting my recovery and not giving me much in return.
