    Charly, could you throw up a nice solid link to a site which summarizes your routine and diet philosophy? Maybe you've done that already and I missed it.

    Mrchariybrown, you must be some kind of genetic specimen... [IMG]

    If I ate like that, the carb bloat would be so bad I would have to roll down the street...

    haha thanks but I'm far from it. I wish. I've just got the heart and soul of a fat girl lol

    you guys seem to over analyze what's he doing. From what I read, he basically eat a ton on friday/saturday, fast the next day and eat normally for the rest of the week (with around 100-150 carbs). I think he also eat a little less on rest days and a little more on workout day.

    I'm sure he has ton of experience and tried a lot of stuff before finding his niche, and is what everyone should do imo. Everyone's body/taste/mind work differently so you just gotta try, try again and try some more till you find something you're comfortable with (myself I've found a nice middle ground between IF and a normal diet). Flexibility is the key.

    It all really come down to eat well enough, work hard enough and stick with it.

    almost. but pretty much it.

    friday = 10k
    sat = fast
    rest of the week = regular eating with about 150 carbs

    very well put man.

    everyone will work differently on different set ups. you need to try something to see if it works for you.

    as you can see, at the moment, I like IF with a cheat day.

    how does eating 10k on one day not undo everything you've done that week?

    not meant to be snarky

    i've done reading on refeeds, but i still dont understand this.

    it just does for me. if you decide to do it, maybe it'll work for you, maybe it won't. but I've been doing it for the past ~2 months and I've stayed the same weight and just gotten stronger and a bit leaner. which is perfect since it aligns with my current goals perfectly. if you want, try it out and see if it's in line with your goals. if it ain't, then stop. I wish there were a one-size fits all diet and routine where we could all be shredded and deadlifting 800+ pounds heh

    but that just isn't the case.

    for the first three weeks I did. then I stopped and started doing a complete fast, and I feel much better and it feels like my progress is going a bit faster.

    Alright Chuck. I think I got you beat on this one. The haul so far for tomorrow's cheat day:

    Pint of Haagen Daaz
    Pint of Ben & Jerry's
    Box of peanut brittle from Costco
    Apple pie from Costco
    New Rugulah flavor from Costco
    2 new flavors of cookies from Costco
    2 cans of whipped cream

    Still contemplating on whether I want to drive 30 minutes to the other Costco to pick up the Flan that I saw there last time.
