1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

First 8 weeks will be nothing but a calorie deficit without too much worry about macros. Last 8 weeks will be carb cycling

Starting at 211 will hopefully be stage ready at 180. For carb cycling will do four days sub-50g then fifth day refeed at 400g

So 30 lbs in 16 weeks? That's pretty damn good. Carb cycling is similar what I was doing except not quite as high/low and did it on week long cycle. Need to get back to my diet, had a nice break, but time to quit fucking around... as soon as I get to the grocery store.

Luckily I'll probably drop 5-8 pounds right away just from dropping water weight and bloat.

What's your dieting protocol gonna be like? Details please. We're pretty much the same height/weight right now, and my goal is 180-185 also.

Those white adidas with black stripes and red highlights are the Power Perfect 2s. Also a very good model and is probably the most common lifting shoe here in Europe.

    Agree.
I tried out the Adipowers today for squat and bench and really liked them. Made my torso more upright in the squat, but the knees travelled a bit more forward than when I squat in Chucks. I don't necessarily see that as bad though if it doesn't cause any knee pain. Most guys in IPF squat with a medium or relatively narrow stance and let their knees travel forward. I think minimal forward knee travel is only important if you're a geared squatter. For benching, the lifted heel made it much easier to get proper leg drive.

Overall very happy with how the shoes felt. Very snug but precise fit.
I would prefer them in white though so I might grab those later on.

Also, lifted at the new gym again. I'm still not used to seeing other people train like they do there. Pretty much everyone seems to train for powerlifting or just strength and its a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. People are much friendlier and more open to help you out and share a rack than in commercial gyms. No bicep guys staring at everyone and flexing their abs in between sets.

the only negative thing would be that I'm the weakest there.
The guy that I spotted for his bench the other day had his Max Effort day today. Geared up in suit, used ammonia caps and benched 660. An older man was psyching him up and filmed the set and discussed with him afterwards. I guess thats his coach.

Saw some girls who were really strong. One of them did ATG speed squats with 225 pounds + chains and then did some snatch grip SLDLs with 250 for reps. Pretty crazy.
Also, girls who are slim but can squat heavy have very nice bodies [IMG]

What're your macros gonna be, how many days a week are you lifting, any cardio, HIIT or LIIT, will the cardio be done on the same days as lifting or not, if so on the same day before and after?

    Haha...just things like that.

Was at a health and wellness fair the other night. Small-ish event, everyone signed up for a 90 day challenge. I'm guessing 90% of people wrote down weight loss. I was probably the only one that wrote down weight gain haha.

Someone answer my fucking creatine question

    LIIT is goat cardio

GN did answer you, what do you want? Creatine is cheap anyways. Take as many creatines as your body can handle.

First 8 weeks -- 200g protein, rest c/f at -700 deficit. No cardio.
Second 8 weeks -- 200g protein, sub 50g carbs, rest fats at -700 on low carb days. Refeeds every five days will be 200g protein, 400g+ carbs, minimal fats and maintenance cals. Will lift 4 days, will do HIIT on stationary bike on off days.

If its pure creatine monohydrate you don't need to load at all. Just take 5g a day and you're fine.

Honestly, why don't you just google it and read up on it yourself? Surely you will benefit a lot more in the long term by understanding things for yourself rather than ask other guys what they would do.

This is the answer. Take until you feel it. Then just keep steady at 5g.
