I can't speak for anyone else, but I've seen better results if the majority of my daily intake of fast-digesting carbs comes during and right after lifting. I also limit such carbs in the hours leading up to sleep, since it's not as though I need any energy to lie there for seven or eight hours.

I haven't noticed a huge difference between consuming starchy carbs at breakfast and not.

i have no problem with my energy levels, and my workouts are very intense, supersets, triple sets, negative reps

triple shot of expresso before a workout always helps too

NOXplode is pretty much popular everywhere, especially amongst teens who think a pump after the gym makes them "swole" [IMG]

    hcg, the preg hormone?!

aas, is that 'amino acid supplementation'?

My strength embarrasses me next to what 'aeglus' is doing.

Headache in my left elbow again. Going to take it easy on the bench this week.

I haven't had a proper workout for 5 or 6 days, I can't wait to get to the gym after work. I might even scream every time I lift the weight, just to show the gym-rats that I'm a real hoss.

Been reading up on symptoms a bit and I seem to have very mildly hurt my left rotator cuff. This seems ironic to me as it happened after I deloaded my DL and OP, but did slower and more deliberate reps. I don't think I did anything wrong, but the slower reps may have revealed (exacerbated) a developing problem (probably overuse).

I think the trap bar will allow me to do deadlifts on occasion without fucking up my back any more. This pleases me.
