There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Don't buy that Schiek one. You can't go wrong with a leather, single prong , 10mm one. I've got one from a random Canadian manufacturer and it's working well.

    Something like that : http://www.inzernet.com/detail_belt.asp?PRODUCT_ID=FOREVERBELTS_BUCKLE10MM

Model 6011 Single Prong Competition Power Belt from Schiek could be fine too bit it's a little bit too thin *9mm*. Best advise would be to invest in a good 75-90$ belt , it will last a while and it's a very good investment.

Eason: I can squat 315 x3-5 on any day of the week but I'm still leaning a little too forward. I'm presently working on getting a stronger overall squat and be able to squat 315x5 with almost perfect form.

It will really depend on a few factors: do you have a coach that can rapidly correct your form? Do you eat and sleep well? Did you find the technique that fits your body and that you like? etc. For me, I had to fix my technique, fix my starting position, get stronger, etc. Once I've started following guides from raw lifters (IPF, Supertraining(Mark bell), the crew from Juggernaut system, Candito and similar) and not from Westside Barbell, I've started progressing much better.

I guess it took me like 8-12 months to get a good 1 rep 315 lbs from a solid 225 for reps. I don't progress very fast though and never had a coach. It would definitely help. Would have to check my training log to confirm.

    Hope it helps.

Not sure how long it took but..

    225x2x5

Hit all reps, then go up 10 pounds the following week until you stall.

If you stall for more than two weeks.. then the following week, add 10 pounds and drop to 2 sets of 3.

Again, if you stall for more than two weeks, the following week, add 10 and go to 2x2.

Once you stall here, I like to dial back the weight and go back to 2x5, usually with the weight you used on your second to last week of doing 2x5's.

This is all highly dependent on your diet and your routine as a whole of course.

This guy walks around my gym wearing a Fox racing shirt and a ball cap and those striped basketball pants or whatever and wears a belt and straps through his entire workout and grunts loud as fuck and is a douche.

I'm kinda doing the above for bench. I stalled on my 3 x 5 rep weight so dropped down to 3 x 3 and have gone up.

Because I do 5/3/1 I never do more than 1 set at low reps/high weights. Maybe I should reconsider that and do some heavy singles/triples

Wah. Talked to my admissions consultant last night and he said that Columbia and Booth were "in reach". I was hoping HSW would be in reach. Fuckin sucks.

PS once I get to the funding stage for this gym I'm asking all you fuckers for money.

He's getting his stuff posted everywhere. Interesting articles.

I wanted to finish my training time with him before I recommended him, but I highly do so.
