I don't think I could eat 3,750 kcal for more than 1 day
Good luck man!!!
Thanks.. yea it's going to suck because it's 100% clean foods.
Dat feel when you get bored doing lateral raises and tricep extensions after your push day and decide to do behind the neck snatch grip push presses, Went up to 80kg, which im quite happy with. Lost my balance and dropped the weight. Gym manager was mad as fuck, he always russled at me. Had an aesthetic girl tell me she was merlin strength and asked me for gym advice, which was weird, but she was indian or something dark and one of my uni goals is to fuck an indian girl. Didn't actually feel the push presses anywhere. Was more of a jerk to be fair. The only hard bit, was standing up with it, actually getting it over my head didn't feel like anything.
What are you cutting down to? Edit: Nvm i see. Goodluck
I can do ring dips for reps - at least 8. Several sets. It is harder, but you can quickly adapt. Many gyms have TRX straps and doing dips on them is pretty much the same thing, movement-wise.
Muscle Ups are still hard though. I've only managed 2 in a row, but I haven't tried in a while and I doubt I could do them now as I haven't converted my garage into a gym yet - weather is getting nice, so maybe next week.
Shaved my legs....feelsweird.
Charly what do your thighs measure at your current weight? I'm just curious.
fuck i am so dyel. i'm on the wrong side of 170 now, getting leaner and im really happy with my strength gains, but man. seeing 169 on the scale was a big WTF moment. i'm going to make an honest effort to try and "reset" my maintenance level once i lean out since i've decided not being able to eat junk food every day while maintaining 6-pack leanness is horseshit.
did it make you feel pretty
Not sure. Will measure my sexy thighs when I get home.
This seems like a silly question but what do you think about doing some cario after lifting, when you're trying to bulk up? I've been lifting heavy, doing a 5x5 workout program and making gains all around but I keep shedding weight. I am taking in about 4000 calories a day (give or take a few hundred). Been taking in 5g of creatine for the last 2 weeks and I've lost another 1lb in the last 2 weeks (down 8lbs in 3 months). The only thing I can think of that's making me burn the calories and shed the weight is basketball. I lift every mon, wed, friday night, and then play ball right after for about an hour or two (i usually just go after the gym telling myself ill shoot for a few minutes to loosen up, but end up playing pick up games for a few hours).
Could basketball for 1-2hrs a day really be setting me back like this?
Not to sidestep your question, but how can you manage to play basketball after working out? I can barely walk after most squat days
Squat days are the worst but I push through till I have to throw up, then I head home. On other days, I just play defense. Since I can't shoot from lifting, I end up playing defense like it's a championship game. I'm that guy at the park hah.
But maybe that's the answer... maybe I need to be lifting to the point where basketball or any other activity is just out of the question.
List out your diet for a typical day like this..
Food item: amt (oz, g, lb, or kg)
I need to know because when 95+% of people tell me they're getting in X amt of calories.. they're just guesstimating (over counting most of the time).
If you're not weighing your food, you don't know what you're eating.
Basketball.. or any other sport is going to take away from your progress. There's no way around it. That's not saying "don't do it". If you like playing basketball, play basketball. Just know, you're leaving progress on the table.
