    Havent been working out at all and eating pretty shitty (although keeping cals down) for the past two weeks or so. Stressed, preparing for a job interview. Ready to knock it out tomorrow and then get back in the gym.

    Did the Spartan Sprint at Citi Field on Saturday. Went with a 12 person team including 7 girls. It was the first race for all of us so we agreed to stick together. I found myself waiting around for the girls to finish up challenges (or the 30 burpee penalty for failing a challenge).

    The only challenge I failed was the monkey bars. I didn't realize it but I chose the hardest track, pegs at varying heights and they all spun. It made the going very difficult and slow. I slipped off the 2nd to last one as it spun in my hand.

    I was the most proud of finishing the rope climb in like 10 seconds and throwing the spear like a boss into the target. Shit was awesome. I also doubled up on the 5 gallon water jug challenge, up and down several long flights of stairs. Better for weight distribution and balance.

    I'm going to train and do a few more of these types of races this year.

    Some guy stopped me as i walking into my gym and said "excuse me, do they do crossfit here?" i was like....umm, dont think so. I actually have no idea what it is. Why do you have to "have crossfit" cant you just go and like lift weights, doesnt make sense.
