I train in my uni gym. Free access because it already compounded into my uni fees. Also alumini usage is 200 sgd a year, so much cheaper than commercial gyms.

Singapore doesn't really have lifting gyms. The few ones cost 12x more than what I will currently pay.

IMO yes. I do like a set of 10 with the bar, 5-6 at 135, then like a double at 180, and then just singles at like 220, 260, 280, 300 then working sets around 320. Warming up with multiple reps close to your working weight takes way too much energy from the main set.

Hi, stupid question, but how drastically will lifting change my body's dimensions?

I'm a small guy (5'8 / 174cm, ~126lbs. / 57kg) and I'm not even aiming to get that big. I'm just trying to get an otter body:

I'd be doing the starting strength lifts without the starting strength diet to get it.

I wear an XS in J. Crew shirts and a 28W in their 484 chinos, and I'm (probably stupidly?) wondering whether lifting is gonna make me too big for my clothing (since the fits are pretty much perfect at this point).

I'd think that since my goal body isn't even big, that it wouldn't be a problem, but am I wrong?

You're going to make it far my friend. But yes lifting will make you not fit into J Crew Kids XS or whatever you're wearing at 120lbs.

    nooooooo

Will I really? I mean, 'cause otter body types still look skinny.

Will my limbs and whatever else really widen up that much?

    All the time, it sucks.

Lifting and getting into a routine has helped a ton though.

Waking up and going to sleep around the same time every day really helps too. I also try not to use my phone/tv/laptop an hour before bed. Use that time to just wind down, take a shower, write out a plan for the next day, read, drink some tea, and pop and 5mg melatonin 15 minute before bed or so. Dark, cool room, and I like to have a fan on for white noise.

I used to unintentionally pull all nighters like 3 times a week. Fall asleep at 6 am, wake up at 4 in the afternoon. That shit sucked. Now I'm usually down by 11 and up by 8 and I feel amazing.

How have you chosen SS to get that body lol. Probably worst possible program choice to target physique ever.

I can confirm melatonin works well for sleep, none of the chemical drugs had any effect on me, but melatonin sends me to sleep and i only take about 1.5g per night (break the pill in half)
