    Took a photo of myself from the side view, so one-dimensional

    :( Feeling a bit disappointed / self-conscious

    Was going to take the week off but going to hit the gym in an hour or so, fml

    Disclosure: the clothes I am wearing maybe .5 to 1 size too large but w/e. Still not an excuse!

    I just want large pecs to fill out tees a bit more. Luckily today is chest day :nodding:

    And I am bottom heavy where my thighs / calves are larger in proportion to my top. Hoping in the long run SPBR will correct some of that.

    not that i even look big here, but jesus i'm dyel irl (GN and fuji can confirm) with shit-tier lifts. amazing what angles + flexing + 9/10 WB lighting will do

    Just got back from the gym. Ended up doing squats day

    Left early as I finished and could not be bothered with the last exercise, calf raises. Bro made me feel mad guilty as he said I do not work out with enough intensity. Made me feel bad even though I hit my old PR for squat today at 165 lb. @ 2x5 (forgot to weigh self! argh)

    Bacon is that your progress photo? I need to take one for the record.

    nah this was a "found tank whilst looking for tax documents and put it on" photo

    i do take prog photos periodically for my own reference (same time of day, flat lighting, unflexed) but that's neither here nor there

    Word, I don't think my hams are too tight though, I think it's due to the postural problems I'm trying to correct. Will try to get lower next time to activate my glutes. Is it counterproductive to take a wider stance on snatch grip deads to prioritize the glutes more?


    I love when fatties say "Its my metabolism, it's slower than everyone else's, I barely eat anything all day and I'm still fat"

    Gettoasty.. you need to just lift for a few years, eat your face off, and not post.. and then come back and apologize to everyone doubting them this whole time.

    Since the topic was broached earlier, exactly how detrimental is alcohol to muscle building?

    I used to be almost as bad as Charly. Hitting the sauce to the tune of a half liter/liter a day by myself. Similarly, i'm since in a better place, and limit myself to one rager a week. Does partying hard once a week degenerate your gains made during the week, as some broscience says?

    Binge drinking is very detrimental to your gains. Binge drinking is known to impact your testosterone and estrogen.
