I have heard a lot of good things about zinc. I'll give that a try
Cosign on zinc. Haven't tried most of the stuff here, but looking into it, everything aside from the T-Nation product is inexpensive on vitaglo.com. As as usual, the key "ingredient" in the T-Nation product is available cheaply elsewhere, too.
Charly sent me like 3 lbs of zinc, still going through it all.
You getting enough fats? Low fat diets (and of course stress) crush my libido.
Fish oil and eggs help too.
At ten weeks out I had major libido issues. Was like penor wasn't even alive. Started zinc, upped fats, and started taking fish oil again...was like night and day.
I do pretty much only have lean meats and carbs. I will try and have fattier meat on my off days, I have been slacking with that.
Any recommendations on the best places to get zinc? Would it be worth getting at GNC or should I look online?
Thanks for this tip. Also been having libido issues but I figured it was stress from this damn wedding planning. Feels so overwhelming sometimes. Will try out some zinc too.
Dude on a lifting board I'm on said zinc turned him into the "black Peter North". Be careful brahs
Anywhere that sells a multi probably has a zinc.
Wouldn't that effect wear off?
high doses can be toxic long term so I stay around 15mg of zinc glycinate.
have you tried maca?
Wow, my OTC zinc is 50mg. I'll have to watch that.
Shoudl be good as long as you follow the directions for dosing on the bottle, no?
Dosing usually doesn't account for long term toxicity. The recommended daily intake is 11mg and the upper tolerable limit has been set at 40mg, which includes food sources. Many supplements have a much higher dose than needed, especially minerals because they are plentiful in a broad diet but more likely to cause problems in excess.
3 weeks cutting have lost about 5lb, seems about right i guess. All lifts are up although thats more likely due to adapting to the routine than anything else. Not really looking any different yet (obviously) slight increase in arm definition maybe. Thought i would feel super skinny by now but it's not too bad, can probably handle going down to 180lbs if i dont start losing too much strength. New PR deadlift 320 x 5 and DB rows 100 for sets of 6 with pretty strict/slow form.
