    Who's in the Bay Area and wants to work out with a skinny Asian guy??

    Regarding the lifting a lot of weight while eating at a deficit, how do you keep your energy up again? Fish pills and energy drinks/coffee? I don't want to cut carbs as well since it is 25-50% of my diet. Any suggestions on fillers for carb so that I don't faint?

    Chipotle really hit the spot for lunch today...but a little too much of the hot sauce :/

    I need to learn how to contract my chest and glutes more on chest/squat days. Lately I only feel sore days later on DL days in SPBR. Mind-muscle connection is weak!

    Eat carbs after lifting. Lots of it.

    But why you skinny and want to lift @ deficit?

    I'm like 165... nomnomnom like a horse post-workout. Dat swole.

    Wait till you're like 180, then worrying about cutting bro.

    I think you are my height? (5'10-5'11)....around that 170 or so is a nice decent weight. I'm not looking to get really big, just a bit of mass on a lean frame would be so much easier to attain and maintain. Plan of attack is to bulk till june, hopefully past 180, then cut to 170 with sub 10 bf. I'm blessed in that I can put on weight and boost my numbers while still being able to see abs.

    Before yall start saying i can go beyond 180, graduating in 2 months, starting work as a Junior CPA with a big 4. almost impossible to hold on to that much muscle mass with the associated work-life balance. (TK is a genetic freak, for being so big, lean and a doctor whut)

    Thanks for the tips

    I was curious about the eating on deficit and when Mark made that post about 2 types of aesthetics. If I started on a deficit I think I'd starve and mess up my metabolism. I am also on that forever elusive quest for some form of abs as I've never had any before. Hence, the thought of cutting and eating on deficit was tempting me.

    Fwiw I was 170lb 6 years ago. Wish I got into lifting then rather than dropping all the way down to 150 fml

    These kinds of questions make me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.

    Just bodyfat. Guy on the left has cut down to 10-11% for a photoshoot. Guy on the right is sitting pretty at 18-20%.

    Nothing pretty about it, dude looks bloated and awful. I never understood people who think that is a pleasing aesthetic
