my school has a mandatory swim test. if you dont pass you take remedial swim class. if you never pass you never graduate. also its only like twice a year

but the test is really easy. you just have to cross the pool and come back. i think

This is why I hate the american schooling system, you have to do bullshit like this. If I went to UVA or NYU like I was originally planning i'd probably be doing like art appreciation and a language or like english lit class or some other non money making course. WTF does swimming have to do with acquiring intelligence. I only have to be on campus for 3 hours a week, which is nice.

Lost about 2lbs on this cut almost 2 weeks, slow progress. Debating whether to try lyle mcdonalds rapid fat loss diet, basically 1.5g/lb protein and all you eat apart from that is some vegetables and fish oil tabs. Supposedly you dont lose muscle on it if you don't run it for long, i would probably only do like 2-3 weeks.

RFL blows, but I have tactics for making it better. I was on something similar for a pretty long time (because I kept drinking and fucking it up on the weekends).

Eventually when I start cutting for summer I'll probably just do RFL for two weeks for a head start then normal cutting procedure.

no doubt its working, i'm just forever impatient. I'm probably fat enough to do something more drastic.

If you really wanna do RFL, I found these things make it bearable:

    1. Cook all your food at once for the week. Then you don't have an excuse to eat McDonald's because you don't have any chicken prepped.
    2. Use those spice packets on your chicken. A lot of them. Throw in some Frank's and/or Sriracha, maybe some onions and jalopenos in there.
    3. Drink a lot of coffee and energy drinks. Maybe do EC. Definitely take your fish oil/vitamins daily. Your energy level can plummet before normalizing, if it does normalize. I got used to it and felt great on it, but starting off sucked. Some people don't have their energy levels bounce back like that.
    4. Don't do cardio. Waste of time, will make you more tired, and will affect you detrimentally, as Lyle explains.
    5. Drinking sucks. You will turn into an extreme light weight and have terrible hangovers. And you will not be able to cure them with bloodies or a disgusting greasy hangover brunch. Eating chicken and broccoli on a hangover is the worst thing ever. However, you will look lean as fuark after a night out at the bar, especially as your stomach is hitting your abs for a five rep set of hurling into the toilet.
    6. Drink a ton of water. Do creatine for the duration. This will help maintain your gainz.
    7. Commit to it. Run it for the duration. No cheat days, they will fuck you up by reminding you how awesome real food is.
    8. Stop talking to your friends. They will just want to go out drinking and/or eating and remind you how awesome real food is.

Oooo RFL is not for the meek. Not saying dude is, just that it's not easy. It fucking works though. When I get to the level of strength I want I think that is what I will do.

Something that really dissapoints me is how education has devolved into your attitude of despising any "non money making course." Learning for the sake of learning, particularly art history, language, or literature is what you should be studying in college. I can confirm that you will never use a thing you learn in economics classes if you decide to go into investment banking, as many of your LSE peers probably will.

Global recession, high unemployment, and an over abundance of college education in America has done it (imo imo).
