I've been drunk enough to vomit on my pillow and turn it over, but never that bad.
Gf took me to a brazillian steakhouse last night for my birthday. Ate so much meat. Also had fancy cognac.
It was a good night.
Today i learnt not to push your head into the bench too hard on incline DB press. So much pain, totally ruined the rest of the workout and still hurts now.
Benched 225x11 today...new pr and I'm especially happy about it since I'm down 8 pounds since November 1st. Weird how that works. Maybe I'll be able to hit 300 after all.
Fuji post vid yet? No?
Eason volunteered to upload it on youtube if I email it to him. Could just email it to the people who are interested if they PM me there email addresses. Don't like the idea of having videos of me lifting public.
Squatted without a box today for 5x10x225lb deep as fuck with no box. Trying to gain back the mass I lost from salmonella poisoning then the winter vomiting virus.
yeah fuji sent it to me on whatsapp but I wasn't near my wifi so I couldn't download it before it expired.
LPHA workout today, I did 5x10 sets of front squats with just the bar and my new oly shoes. Painful but I don't think it was "further injury" painful more just "using" painful.
abs still hurt. everything is worth hating!
Q for you guys who do face pulls: how do you keep your neck and head from cocking forward on the pull? I feel like I always try but end up slightly jutting it toward the rope handle anyway.
did you do a maintenance phase before starting this cut?
I do facepulls like 3x a week. You gotta keep your shoulders fully externally rotated and pushed back during the movement, this will keep the head neutral with the spine. Drop the weight if your head has to push forward to finish it.
doesn't HAVE to push forward. I suppose its sort of a sprinter crossing the finish line move, where I'm just trying to REACH the finish. know what I mean? i do try and keep my fucking shoulders back but they just love rolling forward.
Yeah I was at 210 or so for about a month before cutting
I use a really light band for them and focus on spreading my elbows apart without retracting the scapula, never really noticed my head doing anything. Occasionally i'll do them heavy in the gym on a cable machine and try use the same form, but it ends up turning into a high row if I go to failure.
Gonna start doing what my bodybuilding friend (successful bodybuilder, not poverty shit bodybuilder) tells me to do for 10 weeks to get back my mass/ acquire more aesthetics and because doing box squat doubles gets boring as fuck. More muscle size can't hurt my lifts either I'm guessing. Recommended I do push/pull/legs twice a week because I told him im not doing a phaggy chest, back, arms, shoulders, legs split. Did this for pull
5x6-10 pull ups
5x6-10 db rows
3x6-10 snatch grip barbell shrugs
3x8-12 face pulls/3x8-12 rear delt flies
db rows were ramped and only the last sets were taken to failure, felt good man. He's weird as fuck though, said he wants me to have a threesome with his gf (girl in my profile picture on fb) and my ex whilst he watches.
Over-trained last month and took a week off for the first time in about three years. Was getting serious anxiety/depression after workouts. Getting back in the gym now and it feels fantastic.
