You've also got to realize a lot of what the westside barbell guys(and gals) train for geared lifting with a wide stance.
Alright, hadn't really thought about it like that.
I'm not really into powerlifting. I just want to be able to put up respectable numbers and look aesthetic.

I saw your video. What's 'paused' about that bench?
Quick momentum loss on chest - vital for a white light on the lift in any fed (some a slightly longer pause than others but they all require a pause).
With touch and go benching, I can put up more.
For example, I did 225 x 20 touch and go benching after those singles. I probably couldn't even get 15 with a pause.
