yeah no... that's not what the study shows even if thats what they want you to think
Finally missed a rep on this wave of benching.
Another PR though.
At 320 for 3, 3, 2.. all paused.
On that slow cooked whole chicken tip. Shit's delicious and $7
Sore as hell today
Was determined to hit new squat PR today...unrack the weight...step back...and some fucking high schooler comes by and reaches underneath the side of the bar to grab a plate that's being stowed on my rack.
Hmm.. During my overhead press at the top of the lift i feel a bit of an impingement. I consulted Starting Strength in my gym back and it says at the top when you squeeze your traps up to lockout this also opens up the shoulder to finish the lift. I wasn't really squeezing my traps at the top.. So I did some bar work then did some SOTS press to practice squeezing up lock out. Anything else to help?
(On a side note it's been so long since I've lifted 100% that I'm going to start re-reading starting strength before I lift just to remember all the shit i forgot.)
Tempted to hire Fuji into banking just for the gym lolz.
Where do you feel it? I thought I was having some impingement issues at the top of my OHP and sometimes benching and it ended up just being an inflamed supraspinatus, a few acupuncture sessions cleared it up.
Top of my shoulder on the trap
If its the top, towards the front and 'inside' that sounds like the supraspinatus, it's engaged any time you lift your arm.
Yea, that muscle is always tight. I'm constantly doing soft tissue work and trigger point in that area.
made some of that protein sludge and it tastes like dirt, maybe i need some tastier ingredients.
Is there a single worse mildly painful experience than going to the bathroom, realizing you have a long nose hair, and yanking that thing out?
