Hit a 20-rep set on squat with BW on bar, shits brutal
Any reason why?

That moment when you get so pissed at missing a hang snatch single at 85 percent for the 4th time, that you hulk out and do it for a triple next attempt.
Whenever I squat I do 2x5, 1x20 because squatting to failure would kill me. The 20 rep set is basically a rest paused set where I take short breaks at like 10 and 15 but don't rack the weight.
I do the same thing for box squats and leg presses.
FWIW I'm on a hypertrophy prog and do most sets to failure.

LOL I said I was on DC like three months ago brahs, stopped doing the stupid stretches though like a week into it so it's not really DC I guess.
I also never do warm up sets come at me
What are you squatting now?
Right now for work sets I'm squatting [email protected], [email protected], though I'm still making 10-lb jumps (was out for a few weeks out of the past few months, particularly on squat day, and my prog has me doing strict squats once every 6 workout days - so like once every other week - other two lower days I do box squats and leg presses).
I've never 1RM'd before so I don't know what that'd be.
