    First one was interesting...

At my local olympic weightlifting meets there was a guy from the special olympics team always there. He would stand by the chalk station and give you a pat on the back and slap your thighs for you before you lifted. He was SUPER excited to do this too.

I do not see how that was disrespectful. You have people who do not necessarily have the best motor control putting heavy weights over there head using a method that requires a lot of technique. People in the olympics injure themselves by dropping weights from the overhead position, if you don't have good motor control theres gonna be an increased risk of that. I was surprised there was weightlifting as well as powerlifting because you can't spot the olympic movements like you can the power movements.

The gym owner at this local gym is so annoying. He walks around telling people you are doing X wrong do X. Sorta hard to tell someone to fuck off when he owns the gym and I don't want to look like an asshole. I just continue to ignore

The guy complaining about bottlenecking, instead of worrying about what other ways of working your shoulders how about worrying about other ways of working your triceps? The whole point of compound movements is to promote symmetry and proportional strenth, worry about your weakest link (triceps) not where you're already strong..

Also I listent to stuff like japandroids when lifting
