I didn't know asians did track outside of asia.

Rugby bro whose always saying how strong he is and what his ridiculous numbers are was at the gym today. He claimed 320kg deadlift and 180kg front squat, both beltless and he weighs maybe 85kg. He missed a 165kg deadlift in a belt and an 80kg front squat, I luled.

Also saw a boy doing about the equivalent of a 4 board press by having his mate put a reebok stepper on his chest. I don't think anyone not wearing a bench shirt uses a 4 board because no one has a problem locking out the last inch raw really. The funny bit was he was doing it with 30kg. Must have just started lifting and figured he'd give westside ago.

Also had a very close friend of mine try to kill themselves last week, I used the huge amount of russling that caused me to rape the fuck out of my speed work today. It got emotional around set 7.

I prefer it to be deafeningly quiet or deafeningly loud (with metal). Anything in between with any other music doesn't bother me, but I'd rather not listen to it if given the choice.

I don't really enjoy metal outside of getting amped for a deadlift or squat though.

I can't listen to lyrical music anymore. Usually now I just listen to the most recent A State of Trance episode and imagine myself turning Super Saiyan mid-set.

    Lame, I know....but it works.

i found ASOT has turned extremely homo-erotic as of late. it used to be pretty cool trance a few years back, now its overrun with fairy lyrics and shitty piano and synth. BBC essential mixes from notable dnb artists are a good listen though, netsky and pendulum are standouts

maybe i should start cycling my metal, every 4 weeks for dat max

i like epic movie/game soundtracks, its easy to get into the zone pretend youre batman. skyrim's soundtrack is killer if you're at work, maybe not for lifting though. FUS ROH DA *squat*

I listen to Burzum when I lift and think about burning churches, taking a picture of my friend/bandmate after he blew his head off with a shotgun, and stabbing a friend/bandmate to death.
