    Definitely way lopsided.

I think I've got a pretty ideal ratio between my b/s/d at the moment. Bench might be about 10-20 pounds behind for a near an ideal ratio (in powerlifting at least).

My upper body doesn't look jacked for sure though, still DYEL thanks to strength training programs.

i got more aesthetic using girly weights for high volume... doing 2x5 for your main pressing movement then some high rep assistance movements works really well

bah growing out of my best worn / favorite jeans. Glad I'm cutting weight now. I think I'm going to settle myself at 175-180lbs with a 10-12% bodyfat. You guys think that's pretty good for someone who is 5'7?

You won't be mistaken for someone who doesn't lift.

Yep. I typically shoot from sets of 6-8 for main movements and then sets of 10-12 for assistance stuff.

at 5'7"? Unless he's wearing dress shirts and slacks/suits all the time or his casual wear is way oversized , it will show.

having 2 bench days is great too. you can fit in so many fun variations without frustrating yourself with OHP stalling for weeks

Given the average build of the dudes here in Raleigh it's extremely easy not to look like a DYEL bro. Every dude just runs around here, I can't fault them for at least doing something, so most guys have super slim frames.

Well it seems everyone agrees on that, although by the strength standards im intermediate in the deadlift and novice in everything else. I'm pretty sure if i trained purely for getting a big deadlift i would be at 400lb before too long, but i dont go lower than 5 reps on it to start my back workout. Maybe im just fatter than i thought which is why im so weak.

i wonder when the people who care enough about their training to stick with it for months and years yet spend a disproportionate amount of time complaining about their lack of progress should hire a good coach and do exactly what they are told with absolutely no thinking involved for one year.
