    Starting doing cleans recently. Traps sore as hell. Need to do more band work / foam rolling.

    That's the only reason I don't do olympic movements now. I have a really tight right trap still from olympic lifting, it would be in a constant state of being tight and sore if I didn't stretch/foam roll regular. Those movements are too rough still to do.

    I plan for 4-5min rests between working sets of squats. Otherwise I can't go all out. nbd

    Really gotta start working on shoulder mobility. My right shoulder is fine, nothing seems to bother it, but the left has impingement all the time. Everything from incline bench, shoulder press, pull ups all irritate it. I warm up quite extensively with stretching, rotator cuff exercises, stretching, and recently dislocations (which cause slight pain in the shoulder.) So far im doing some scapular retraction exercises, as the problem might be caused by kyphosis.

    I think the trap is tight due to lack of upper back and scapular stability rather than the oly movements,

    but wouldn't i by nature have to have good scapular stability from training the olympic weights? I was over a bodyweight snatch and had well over a body weight clean and jerk..

    On another note - man do i crash hard around 4pm and 5pm in the office? Anyone else?

    It's definitely nothing special at all. And eastern Arkansas isn't great... But f*ck yeah arkansas.

    I think I already know the answer to this one but…

    Is it possible to do a modified SS program Monday, Wednesday, Thursday? My stupid gym closes @ 5pm on Friday and isn't open weekends.

    Sure, but I would eliminate the squats on Wednesday. It would be more like GSLP.
