Working out after being kinda sick for 3 days sucks. Couldn't get motivated and never felt into it the whole time.
Stayed at my parents house for a week while they were in Paris, ate like a pig, came back, 255x10 on bench. Feels good. Also feeling like I'm within striking distance of a 250 pound clean and jerk, which would overjoy me.
On the other hand, 335 was barely even a possible squat, so fuck my legs.
How are these numbers even possible? Probably couldn't clean half my squat.
My best squat is in the range of 150ish kg and I've cleaned 119kg.
I'm more impressed by the 255 x10 bench. I can't even imagine benching more than I clean.
My squat is limited by form and a general inability to not be a bitch, so that's part of it. However, I don't think my squat is likely to outpace 2x my clean anytime soon. I can power clean 235, so it's not squat ability that's powering my clean numbers.
As for bench, I can't really imagine cleaning more than I can bench, barring some overwhelming increase in technique. Pretty much everyone I know who does any oly-lifting benches more, if they bench at all. The guy who taught me (a local CF owner) cleans 315, and can bench 315 by like 8. Cleans are fucking hard.
Need a dip belt recommendation for a decent price. Suggestions?
Can any of you do this? I sure as fuck cannot, and not sure I should bother.
From a "I want to deadlift 600lbs" view this is dumb to waste time on.
From a "I probably can't do this because my hips are not mobile" I should do this - rather, work on being able to.

i can squat jerk easily so im going to go out on a limb and say i have the mobility thing covered
My upper back is super tight, I think. I think that is the only problem I have. BRB going to try my shoes on and give it a go just for shits and giggles.
Incline Pressed 185x9 today.
Decided I'm going from cut to a recomp. This will involve stuffing my face on workout days and maintaining my cut on rest days. Gonna keep IF'ing though.
Felix Baumgartner inspired me today. Hit 455 for an easy single on DL, 405 x 5, 405 x 3, then 315 x 10, 315 x 10. Feltgoodman.
Next week I finally pull 475. 5 plate deadlift...soon.
