1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Feeling some intermittent knee soreness. I think it is related to getting back into deadlifts. Not too significant as of now but hoping to nip it in the bud. Any suggestions on strengthening/stretching that area? Can you even really strengthen/stretch your knees?

terminal knee extensions have helped me, i dont know if they're a one-size-fits-all movement but it shouldnt hurt to try

exactly what it looks like. everything behind the front seats got cut down and rebuilt up by hand by me and the old man, and it was a real royal pain in the ass to sand it smooth enough to be painted. the interior is pretty much unfinished but its drive-able at least.

    why, you mirin??

its my dad's hobby, he's a retired mechanic so he spends his days chopping up jettas and building cars because he can. he's built a 1981 vw rabbit pickup and now this jetta, pretty cool shit. i drive a plain old jetta tdi which is a great fucking car, sup 1000km/tank mileage.

Unfortunately, that's not too uncommon for that area in Virginia, right?

I've seen obese hypertensive 12 year olds, but this is by far the worst.

But you're right...a TON of childhood obesity here. We even have our own dedicated childhood obesity clinic days.

Do any of the obese children have skinny to average parents? Conversely, what portion of obese people have skinny to average children?

I feel out of place when I visit those parts. Lots of obese folks there.

I've seen plenty of average/skinny parents with obese kids. Sometimes I only see one parent though, so who know what the other one looks like.

Rarely EVER see fat parents with slim kids. Most the kids I've seen have fat parents.

The ones with fat parents are the hardest ones to do anything about. The parents are in such bad denial about their eating habits that it's impossible to get true lifestyle changes. They always say shit like, "Yeah, I don't know why but Johnny will just go in the fridge and drink a bunch of soda and go in the cabinets and eat all the sweets in there!"

Charly watching your bench videos where do you "feel" it? I know with that much weight it's probably everywhere, but when I bench I feel it mostly in my Lats, Legs, Front Delt, Triceps. Not much pecs, the powerlifters in my gym say this is how it should be since I'm taking a big arch and benching pretty narrow.

I understand using leg drive and it strains your legs a bit getting them into the right position, but does anyone actually feel the bench press in there legs? Not like if you leg press you're going to have a hard time benching after.
