WIll try. If anyone hasn't tried Trutein, particularly the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup or the Cinnabun, they are godly.

I've tried like 25+ brands of protein, Iso 100 has good flavour but thin consistency. If you want the BEST whey vanilla (because you can always add berries, throw in two shots of espresso, or add chocolate powder)

I've had the Cinnabun with just water and it's tasty and sweet enough to mix with just water... borderline too sweet once you start adding stuff. The TKJTG Dymatize flav is seriously just like instant coffee with water. I'm sure it'll be vastly improved with milk and other shit thrown in it.

Am I the only one here who uses whey sparingly? I really only use it after lifting, and even then, I slam it, so I don't care much what it tastes like.

Then again, I've found that if I put any more thought than that into protein powders, I end up relying too much on them instead of just eating real food.

I only use whey after workouts, sometimes casein at night, still I'd rather it be something I enjoy and look forward too than something I have to gulp down because its disgusting.
Always blend, always use skim milk always use ice.

I don't use it unless I'm low on protein for the day. I don't buy into timing b.s. I just take it towards the end of the day with other food if I'm low on protein.

Good on you. Food is going to give you a way more anabolic environment anyways. Too many guys these days buy into the latest and greatest protein powder and preworkout supplement.

I've tried nearly everything legal and it's a bunch of bullshit. Take some vitamins and minerals, and you're good to go. Wish someone told me sooner. It's the same thing I hear from an overwhelming majority of elite lifters. Food reigns supreme.

on the topic of food, my blender is proving to be the best purchase ive made in a long time. i have two shakes usually comprising of a total of 4oz spinach, half a head of broccoli, 4 celery stalks, 4 carrots and a random fruit daily. i have noticed a big difference in terms of energy, quality of digestion, stomach health, skin quality (srsly), general well-being and gainzzz. this is probably because i was veggie-deficient beforehand, but its made a huge difference. this is probably no bigger than a big-ass salad, but combining that with daily salad/broccoli/cauliflower at work and it feelsgoodman.

i love eating veggies, but it is so damned time-consuming and irritating to prepare a good variety of them on a daily basis. this takes 5 minutes every morning to grind all that into a paste and slug it back, and this way i know i will be getting a good amount consistenly. i want to try making some sort of meat-paste like a chicken quesadilla mix that i can pan-fry and be good to go with. im thinking of doing chicken in the oven, then blending it down with onions, tomatoes, peppers etc.

so yeah, go drop $300 bux on a blender bros and join the limp-wristed green smoothie brigade

Looks like a bro-sized 10lb box with a bag in it. Smallest one I could find locally was a 2lb tub.
