Went in to pull 495 for 2 sets of 5 today..

Got stuck at 4 reps and 2 reps for the first and second sets.

Probably because the bar rolled on me on both sets after the first reps.

Not using at hex plates on the ends next week to see if I can get it.

900lb lifter has a higher wilks and is pulling raw. Other guy is lifting in a suit. A 150lb guy lifting 300lb is not as strong as a 300lb guy lifting 600lb, thats why the wilks coefficient was made. Whether or not he's pulling sumo doesn't mean anything.

Jesus christ, it was a fucking joke.

And who the fuck cares if it's "X amount" times bw. All that matters is that he's strong in his weight class.

And WHO THE FUCKKKK cares that it's sumo or conventional. Any sane powerlifter will tell you that a deadlift is a deadlift is a deadlift.

Go ahead and tell Ed Coan, or any respectable powerlifter, that Ed's world record deadlifts are somehow less impressive because he pulled them sumo. You're likely to have a 45-pound plate come flying at your head lol

i lost 30 lbs in the last two months with only moderate cardio of 30 minutes in the treadmill morning and evening. Diet-wise, I still eat whatever I want just low carbs and smaller portions.

Now that I feel lighter, I'm going to add Tae Bo during the evening and maybe some weight lifting
What can you guys recommend for beginners dumbell weight and some basic dumbell exercise and how many repetition and such?
